Open Arms Childcare aims to provide a stimulating environment where children can learn through play and structured activities. Children are encouraged to participate in planned outings and to enjoy invited visitors as part of topic work. Staff plan high quality learning experiences and encourage children to be independent and to have a part in decision making.
At Open Arms, we actively encourage the positive inclusion of children with special needs, to be with others their age and within the local community. Children have the opportunity to learn Makaton signing, to enable all children to communicate with speech and signing where appropriate.
